THIS IS THE BARREL KNOWN AS "MR BLOND"

EXTREMELY long barrel life, LESS fouling, INCREASED corrosion resistance, and REDUCED throat erosion. Melonite is 80 rockwell C scale making it 20 points harder than chrome lining on the inside as well as the outside of the barrel. It is not a plating but a conversion of the surface metal so it cannot peel or flake out over time. KAK Melonite barrels are produced from 41V50 ordnance steel.
