Better than the Gen 1 version! Review by Kenneth

First off I love this blade, I only have one issue with it. I wish the blade was like an inch longer height wise. I didn't really have issues with it slipping from my arm while shooting but it was always a concern that it might. That being said, I did not have any issues using the new 2.0! It looks great, giving my AR9 a much sleeker look. The adjustments were nice and the lock, while stiff, locked in securely and didn't have any wiggle to it. It's much faster to adjust than the original blade, it looks better, and it's affordable. What more can you ask for. kakindustry.com was awesome, easy to order from their site and they shipped quickly. Keep up the awesome work, can't wait to see what you come up with next! Changing a Ruger Charger from a novelty pistol to a functional pistol platform Review by PURDUE_98

The KAK Shockwave 2.0 was added to the pistol brace adapter for the Ruger Charger. This changes the whole dynamics of the Charger from a table top plinker to an adjustable stock that makes using the Charger more functional and comfortable to operate. The overall quality is 5 stars. The only drawback is the stock adjustment lever is challenging to operate. A redesign to include a finger paddle would make this a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. I am well pleased. From one veteran to another, thanks for the product! (Posted on 10/8/19)

KAK Armbrace - Review by Justin

I have no complaints on the 2nd Generation Arm Brace itself, but I wasn't a fan of the included buffer tube. The finish was like sandpaper. I ended up bringing it to my local gunsmith to be cerakoted to a smooth matte black finish. Other than that, I have no complaints! (Posted on 1/26/19)
Locking Mechanism kinda sucks Review by Matt

I opted for the Blade 2.0 because of how much smaller it looked than the Gen 1. The size is great and it looks nice and sleek, but the locking mechanism is kind of hard to figure out. Maybe mine is just cut/assembled a little funkier than the majority, but I can not get the mechanism to easily latch and unlatch on the first try.....ever. A few times I have had to wiggle, jiggle and dance a jig just to get it to finally unlock and move along the tube. I would still recommend this product as the problem is not going to affect functionality, but if they are all like this I would say that some improvements need to be made on the manufacturers end. This is the first Pistol ive built, and am very pleased on how it turned out, good quality on the material or the brace, the easy adjustment on the brace is very nice as well, allowing quick adjustments. Over all very pleased with how this turned out. If and when I build another pistol, will be buying another one. (Posted on 10/8/18)
Much Improvement Review by SwampTurkeyCerakote

The 2.0 brace has much improvement over the “gen 1” brace in a few good ways: 1) Size. The size is much smaller, but in the way you’d want a “pistol” brace to be. Many of our customers would shy away from the gen 1 brace because it looked a little too big for their particular pistol build. 2) Adjustability. The 2.0 can be adjusted “on the fly” once you are used to operating the locking mechanism (I’m sure the particular design of the locking mechanism was hindered due to some back and forth with the ATF approving the design). 3) Fitment on the buffer tube. The gen 1 was tight on the buffer tube and rightfully so. The 2.0 does have a slight amount of “play” but I’d rather this than it be hard to adjust as designed. Well though out product and the upgrades made are appropriate for this price point and designated end result. Comparison pictures of a 9mm pistol build with gen 1 vs 2.0 speak for themselves on the size and apperance... (Posted on 9/18/18)
Much better Review by Ken

Yes, it's smaller. Personally that was the reason I got it. The goal of a pistol is to have the smallest possible platform while still being functional - this does that! The adjustment tab could extend forward a bit more for easier manipulation, but it's workable. I do wish there was a QD mount as well. There's a fair amount of wobble (maybe make the lock tab wider, or include some orings to put between the tube and brace?)

Overall it's a much better improvement; not just functionally, but esthetically as well! And the price is just right! (Posted on 7/23/18)
