Wish I could use it....
Wish there was some 9x39mm brass around to reload. Cannot use this to 'resize' 7.62x39 to 9x39 because the shoulder is different. Now if they would have sold this with the 'hydraulic' punch/pin & the 'no-primer-hole' shell holder to form 9x39 brass, it would be a bargain. made by Redding, so I'm sure it is of good quality, but, cannot use it because of the dearth of any brass to load.

These dies are excellent reloading dies. The dimensions are precise and the sizing die is beautifully polished. While they are expensive, you are looking at custom made dies for a completely new-to-the-US cartridge. I'm pretty sure they are the only game in town, and getting custom made dies for this cartridge will cost you roughly the same price. When sizing up 7.62x39 to 9x39m be sure to lube up the expander ball or inside of the case neck thoroughly prior to sizing. If you are sizing once-fired 7.62x39 brass, be prepared for a split neck or two if you don't anneal first. New, unfired brass can resize perfectly. Be aware that the case is not perfect until it's fire formed after reloading the first time, so they may feed funky at first. Once fire formed, you'll have the perfect shape and you'll be in business. THANK YOU KAK for your help bringing this cartridge to handloaders in the USA!
