Retro AR15 Extended Flash Hider 6"

It’s the third flash hider I’ve bought from KAK. I put one on an XM-177 clone. I had it pinnned and welded on a 11.5” 0.625” barrel. I messed up,the second one. It was my fault. So I bought a third, but this one has a 1/2-36 thread because I installed it on a 9 mm barrel and had that pinned and welded. That’s on a 10.5” barrel. These flash hiders are nice and have a pre-drilled hole on the bottom to pin and weld it on short barrels. Even after it’s pinned and welded it’s not easy to see it since it’s underneath the barrel. It makes it much easier to get the minimum 16” barrel length. I highly recommend it.

This was the perfect length for my project gun. It looks sharp and screwed right on. I have one for a 556 project next.

I like this a lot, it works well for my 10in 300blk retro modern build. It's heavy and a long boy but still cool for my build. The hole for pin and welding is a nice touch and I look forward to using it.

Solid, clean threads, does a decent job of controlling the flash signature. Worth the money for me.

The size and weight of this flash hider on my 10.5 in made it a well balanced fun gun to run steel courses, Also the profile of an XM177 makes a nostalgic look that’s suited for my age, it was well made and thought out with the convenience of having the pin hole predrilled

I have yet to use this barrel extension but I love the way it looks once it’s applied to my 10 1/2 inch barrel. I also like the fact that it has a small hole for permanent pinning.
